"I have been recommending T-Vite vitamins to my patients for years -- and with excellent results. And, after I recommended them to members of my family, I began to receive requests for bottles from all over the country as they tell their friends about them!" - Martha Drohobyczer, CNM, Alternatives For Women

Why Take Vitamins

Mood, Energy & PMS Diet & Nutrition Menopause Evening Primrose Oil

Mood changes can be caused by sugar imbalance such as hypoglycemia. If you have a family history of diabetes, you should be checked for it. If your family history is negative, try the dietary changes eliminating coffee, sodas, and sugar, take the vitamins and EPO.

Lack of energy could be caused by low thyroid, anemia or other illness. See your doctor for thorough evaluation and if all is negative, change your diet, increase T-Vite Multi-vitamins and T-Vite EPO.

Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) has as many as 150 different symptoms. For most women, the most disturbing symptoms seem to be irritability, mood changes, depression, water retention, breast tenderness, irritable bowl, and change in personality. Many women complain that they are a "different person" during the time preceding their menses. This is due to hormonal changes that cause metabolic changes in the body. A decrease in estrogen causes a decrease in blood sugar. If the diet contains sugar, caffeine, beef (which is fed with hormones) and dairy products (especially cheese) the effects are more severe.

Most women can correct this by eating correctly, taking T-Vite Multivitamins and T-Vite EPO. Very few women may need hormonal treatment. Discuss your symptoms with your doctor or health care provider and let them evaluate the need to test you for other problems. For instance, if you have thyroid problems, it may aggravate your PMS. Many women notice an increase in the severity of PMS symptoms as they get more mature (not older!). This is due to changing levels of hormones and can be corrected by the dietary measures, multivitamins and EPO. If the symptoms are severe, this may indicate menopause and a woman should be evaluated for this change.

Depression. It is estimated that 75% of Americans suffer from depression and yet we are one of the wealthiest countries in the world. Depression can be caused by brain chemical imbalance but those are rare cases. Most mild depression can be corrected by improving food intake, taking the T-Vite multivitamins and T-Vite EPO.

To help alleviate feelings of depression, it is important to eliminate sugar and sodas from the diet, particularly at time of high stress and before menses. Exercises produce good chemicals in the body called beta-endorphins. But how do you get off the couch if you are depressed, have no energy, and your best friend is a candy bar?

Start with the vitamins, increasing the dosage if no improvement is noted in the first week. Take EPO -- one in the morning and one at night and most important - give the candy bar to your worst enemy, let them feel bad! Fill your house with fruits and vegetables and healthful snacks and if you must have a candy bar, make yourself go out and get it. Hopefully that would be too much trouble and you will be on your way to cutting out excess sugars. If these measures do not improve your depression, you need to be evaluated for other causes.
